# Known limitations of Littledata's Shopify tracking

Known limitations of Littledata Shopify tracking, like webhook de-duplication, Missing add-to-cart event etc

There are some limitations to know about.

## 1. Maximum of 200 products processed per order

Our AWS servers can only handle orders with up to 200 products. Orders with over 200 products will still be processed, but the product revenue and count will be incomplete.

## 2. Geo location information attributed to a single location (New Jersey/Oregon)

For our server-side events to be correctly attributed to the right city and country we have to parse the user information that was added during the checkout process to correctly determine the location based on [Google's Geographical IDs.](https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/protocol/v1/geoid) If we fail to match with an existing code the events will be send without one and our server location will be automatically attributed to it.

## 3. Landing pages (not set)

Most of our server-side events are being sent automatically by our servers without any user interaction needed on the Shopify storefront. Therefore, because there is no page view send before those events will have no landing pages attributed to them.

## 4. Empty carts are not processed

Littledata does not process empty carts. A side effect of this might be a delay in the Product Removed / remove\_from\_cart events. For example:

* user adds Product A = Product Added / add\_to\_cart event is triggered
* user removes Product A = no event is triggered
* user adds Product B = Product Added / add\_to\_cart (B) and Product Removed / remove\_from\_cart (A) events are triggered.
