# Tracking Plans and Event Schemas

Littledata automatically integrates with Shopify to capture customer touchpoints across the full journey.

This page gives a high-level view of the events tracked for each connection. The screenshots below show the default event coverage.

Here are some of the benefits of a predefined tracking plan:

## Google Analytics 4 Schema

Littledata's [Shopify to Google Analytics 4](https://help.littledata.io/integrations/shopify-to-google-analytics/how-it-works-shopify-to-ga4) connection uses client-side and server-side tracking to keep reporting accurate in GA4.

The screenshot below shows the default GA4 events tracked for Shopify.

## Segment Schema

Littledata's [Shopify to Segment connection](https://help.littledata.io/advanced/developer/broken-reference) is the approved source for Shopify stores using Segment as their data integration tool. Common destinations include Snowflake, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Braze, Iterable, and Klaviyo.

Our Segment connection follows Segment's ecommerce spec and sends the key commerce events shown below.

## Meta Conversions API Schema

Littledata’s [Shopify to Meta Conversions API connection](https://help.littledata.io/integrations/facebook-capi/how-it-works-shopify-to-meta-conversions-api) uses client-side and server-side tracking to improve event match quality and Meta attribution.

This connection supports the core ecommerce events used for attribution, retargeting, and audience building.

## Klaviyo Schema

Littledata’s [Shopify to Klaviyo connection](https://help.littledata.io/integrations/shopify-klaviyo/how-it-works-shopify-to-klaviyo) uses identity resolution and server-side tracking to increase the number of identified profiles and events sent to Klaviyo.
