# Opting in to Beta testing

## Opting in to beta testing

Littledata may invite your store to join its private beta testing group. This page explains what that means for your data and how to opt in or out.

### What the beta group is

Beta stores get new tracking changes before they roll out to all Littledata customers. You get the latest features sooner. In return, you help us confirm that changes work well on real stores.

### How we keep the risk low

We test every change before it goes to beta stores. This includes code reviews, automated tests and manual quality checks. Even so, new software can sometimes break.

We monitor the data destinations of a sample of beta stores. If there is a risk that your data was inaccurate, we will let you know right away.

### How to opt in or out

Beta testing is off by default, and there is no setting for it in the Littledata app. To join or leave the beta group, email <help@littledata.io>. You can opt in or out at any time.
