Integrating Pandectes with Shopify

Pandectes provides a way to manage users' cookie preferences, and ensure GDPR cookie compliance.

However, Pandectes consent mode can block Littledata script from running. Here is how to resolve this issue and make Littledata work with Pandectes.

Disabling Google Consent Mode

Pandectes has the option to enable Consent Mode in Google Analytics, and load the Google tracking libraries. You don't need this, as Littledata already provides it.

To make Littledata work with Pandectes cookie banners you just need to check 'Collected after consent' in Shopify online store preferences.

Under Settings > Integrations you can switch off Google Consent Mode.

Disabling the consent event

There is also the option to add a Cookie Consent event in dataLayer which triggers this:

You need to disable this custom event as well, as it blocks Littledata from loading Google's tracking script.
