Additional Details on Orders
When using Littledata to track orders and customer behavior on Shopify, multiple client identifiers play an essential role in ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
In this article, we’ll dive into the specific client IDs utilised by Littledata, which will appear in the Additional Details section of your Shopify orders:
Identifier types
Littledata uses several key identifiers to track user behavior and order data on Shopify. These identifiers help capture essential details across sessions, devices, and marketing campaigns. All the data collected by us will be encrypted under a single attribute __
ld_attr
. All client IDs, session IDs, IPs, cookies info is stored in this attributed.
Use note attributes setting
Use note attributes settings is now available in the Data pipeline settings. If these attributes cause issues in any way, you can disable them from the Littledata App:
If you uninstall the Littledata app, you may see some orders still come in with our cart attributes for the next few days. That’s because these orders were created from carts that were created before you uninstalled the app. These cases should even out a few days after uninstalling the app.
